The rise of internet betting is changing the face of sports for the worse. Cheating and corruption are spreading to unprecedented levels that have set off alarms for international sports federations. With the help of INTERPOL investigators, they are trying to fight back a globalized system that has been co-opted by Asian and East European mafias into a huge laundering machines. But internet knows no border. And the lure for quick and easy money may be the death of competitive sports.
This investigative documentary takes us at the very center of the secretive system of sports e-gaming, with its rules, its flaws and dire consequences that are pushing hundreds of players off the field into courtrooms.
